The poster design for The Fencer, a film by Klaus Härö that was nominated for a Golden Globe and shortlisted for the Oscars, captures the film’s poignant and cinematic spirit. In addition to the main poster, the design work included the soundtrack cover and premiere invitations, all developed to reflect the film’s emotional depth and elegant visual language.
The approach centers on a minimalist yet evocative visual style, using carefully chosen imagery and restrained color schemes to highlight the film’s narrative and atmosphere. Each design element was coordinated to achieve a cohesive and memorable presence, supporting both the film’s international positioning and its artistic impact.
